1. What is Blue Lakes Country Club?
Blue Lakes is a privately owned and operated golf and social club located in Southern Idaho. It is three miles north of Twin Falls, in the Snake River Canyon.
2. What facilities does Blue Lakes Country Club offer?
Blue Lakes features an 18-hole golf course of challenging, premier golf with driving range, practice and chipping greens. The clubhouse offers formal and informal dining rooms, an intimate bar, conference-style meeting rooms, locker facilities and Golf Shop. Bass Lake, Blue Lakes Park and Brook Lodge are also accessible to club members.
3. Who owns and manages Blue Lakes Country Club?
Blue Lakes is owned by its members and is operated by an elected Board of Directors.

5. What are the membership categories?

6. What is a Corporate Equity Member?
An Equity Membership provides golf play and Club facility use at all times when the respective course and facility are open and available. It is available to corporations, trusts, partnerships, sole proprietorships, associations, and other legal entities. To be eligible as a corporate designee, a person must be a bona fide director, member partner, owner, officer or employee of the Corporate Equity Member.
7. What is a Personal Equity Member?
A membership providing golf play and Club facility use at all times the respective course and facility are open and available. There is no limitation as to who may apply.

Equity Memberships are transferable and may be sold by the member. An Equity Membership waiting list may be obtained through the Club's Administrative Offices.
10. What is a Junior Member?
A non-transferable membership providing golf play and Club facility use at all times the respective course and facility are open and available. This membership is available to patrons up to the age of 36 years old. At that time the membership becomes a Social Membership, unless Equity Membership is purchased.

16. What is the initial cost of a membership at Blue Lakes?
The Club initiation (transfer) fees correspond to the membership categories. The initiation fee for each membership category is subject to change from time to time without notice and at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors. Current membership fees can be found here.
17. Will I have to pay the initiation fee at the time I submit my application?
Your initiation (transfer) fee is due upon receipt of your submitted application.
18. How much are monthly member dues/fees?
Monthly dues vary according to membership category. Blue Lakes offers its members the option of paying dues and other fees on an annual or monthly basis. The "Use it or Lose It" and "Capital Improvement Fund" fee may be paid on a monthly or semi-annual basis. Dues and fees can be billed to your credit card on a monthly basis. 19. What is the "Use it or Lose it" policy?
The clubhouse requires a monthly food minimum purchase. A monthly fee is automatically charged towards food. If a member does not use it the fee is still charged (lose it). This fee is in addition to monthly membership dues.

21. Who may use the membership privileges of each membership?
Blue Lakes Country Club memberships are family memberships which entitle each family member (member's spouse and members single children, under the age of 23) to use the facility.
22. What is the application process?
The applicant must complete an application and return it with the initiation fee. Management is not required to take any action until all information and fees have been submitted. All applications for membership go to the Board of Directors at their monthly meeting for approval or denial. The Board may accept or reject an application in its sole and absolute discretion but will not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, color, or national origin, handicap, or status as a veteran, creed or ancestry.
23. What type of golf and social activities are offered at Blue Lakes?
We have monthly functions for our members and their guests. Events include golf tournaments, twilights, golf clinics, dinners, specialty parties, dinner dances and other members-only events.
24. Is there a dress code?
Yes. Proper attire is required for all golfers and proper resort attire is expected for members and their guests at the clubhouse and other facilities. Blue Lakes has established Rules and Regulations to enhance the quality of services and facilities provided to its members and guests.
